Robert Gordon

Associate & Marketing Executive

Robert Gordon

I first worked with Scholefield in 2012 and returned in 2014. I oversee marketing and website development, publicity for our Circle of Peers events, maintenance of our client database systems, tracking of analytics, and ensure that candidates are confident using all of our candidate facing systems. Most days are varied!

After university, I worked for the Office for National Statistics on the 2011 Census and then as a face to face interviewer for Ipsos Mori, both of which provided fascinating psychological insights! Communicating ideas clearly and succinctly to clients and colleagues is a key part of my current role. For the marketing and systems aspects, my focus is on retaining a broad view while at the same time working on individual aspects in detail and with accuracy. An in depth understanding of both the importance and value of integrated company systems is a rewarding result.

I also wear a history hat, leading and working on various projects at my local museum, many focused on digital engagement. I currently Chair the committee of its Friends association and sit as Deputy on the Museum management committee. I am also the Deputy Chair of the Dame Elizabeth Gresham Trust, a charity which has donated to local good causes for over 360 years.

In any spare time remaining(!) I enjoy climbing mountains, linguistics and live jazz.
