Carol Bates
People Director
Carol is a highly experienced Learning & Development and HR professional, with experience in a variety of differing sectors, including private, public and not for profit organisations. Much of her career has been as a consultant, working on various projects encompassing many organisational issues, ensuring good return on investment for clients. She has delivered projects across all areas of organisational development, including competency frameworks in housing, conservation, archaeology and medical technicians to development of reward strategies, development and implementation of HR & organisational strategy through to leadership and management development programmes. Carol is highly enthusiastic and passionate about improving individual and team performance through coaching, mentoring and tailored leadership programmes.
Carol has been involved with a number of leadership initiatives for organisations, designing, delivering and evaluating leadership development programmes, developing and introducing competency frameworks relating these to performance and talent management, facilitated strategy development with clients to improve organisational performance amongst other projects.
Carol has supported the development of many individuals through coaching and supporting them in their career development or helping them to identify the steps they might need to take in order to achieve what they want to.
