We also recognise how difficult it is to promote yourself and often find that an objective view of your achievements can help stop you from underselling your abilities.

CV Review and guidance

Have your CV reviewed and receive guidance on how to improve its impact for job and contract applications, membership of professional bodies and upgrading membership. This would involve sending your current CV for review by one of our Senior Consultants and having a telephone / Skype discussion on how and where to improve it for maximum impact according to the purpose it will be used for. We call this a Respect Review and it is complimentary. All part of our commitment to you!

CV Writing and guidance on use

Have your CV written in a way that demonstrates your skills, talents, experience and achievements to maximum effect for job and contract applications, membership of professional bodies and upgrading membership. This would involve an initial telephone / Skype interview discussion to ascertain the content for your CV, a written CV document and a further discussion to finalise the document. Guidance will also be provided on how to tailor and use the CV according to the purpose it will be used for. Our fee for this is £150.00 plus VAT.

Career Progression Workshop

Our Career Progression Workshop includes a range of activities aimed at supporting you in progressing your career through further qualifications, development opportunities reflecting on your CPD and obtaining or upgrading your membership to appropriate professional bodies. The workshop involves attending a one day session which provides guidance on CV presentation, CPD reflection and the CIPD membership application and upgrade process including your own upgrade eligibility. Our fee for the workshop is £300.00 plus VAT. Lunch is included. Further support can be provided as a follow up to the workshop in terms of personal / leadership coaching, CV writing qualifications and guidance on completing the upgrade application process. These services will incur additional fees as outlined below.

Upgrade eligibility guidance

If you are thinking about applying for membership or to upgrade your level of membership with the CIPD you may wish to have a discussion on your eligibility for a specific level of membership before applying. This would involve sending your current CV for review by one of our Senior Consultants and having a telephone / Skype discussion on your recent experience to determine your eligibility for a particular level of membership. Guidance will also be provided on appropriate next steps, how to:

apply for membership

upgrade to a particular level

develop specific experience, knowledge and /or skills further.

Our fee for this is £75.00 plus VAT.

Upgrade Application Review and Guidance

If you have already determined your eligibility to upgrade your CIPD membership to Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow and have started to complete your application form you may wish to have your application reviewed prior to submission by one of our senior consultants who has experience of assessing upgrade applications for the CIPD. This would involve sending us your application form together with your CV and organisation chart. You will then have a telephone / Skype discussion on how and where to improve it for maximum impact and to finalise the document. Our fee for this is £150.00 plus VAT.

One to One leadership / personal development coaching

You may be at a crossroads in your career and not sure what to do next, you may wish to maximise your performance in your current role or you may be looking towards your next career move and trying to identify your development needs in order to take the next step. Whatever the case, one to one coaching can help you to set and achieve your development goals, improve confidence and self-awareness, resolve issues challenges and problems and improve performance in leadership, coaching and communication. We can offer one to one coaching conversations either face to face at a venue of your choice or alternatively via telephone or Skype. We charge on an hourly basis. Our fee for this is £200 plus VAT. Travel expenses are charged at cost if a face to face option is selected.
