After navigating the London bus system (rookie mistake!) I arrived at the HRD Conference and Exhibition. For a relatively small venue, I’m sure I walked miles that day and the team and I met some really interesting organisations as well as sampling four of the seminars.
I had a fantastic time and was brimming with ideas by the end of the day. However being one of the most camera shy people in the office (apart from our HR Director Carol Bates) I was delighted but also mortified to be interviewed by CIPD for the highlights video.
Typos aside I think it came out pretty well don’t you? No autographs please…
The blonde head you can see in the background of the thumbnail belongs to our lovely Miss Hollie Dunster and the rather dashing back in the grey jumper next to her is mine. I frequently feel like a giant when with her.
